Career
He serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Voya Financial, a financial, retirement, investment and insurance company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Rodney started his career at the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1975. By the 1990s, he served as the President of Connecticut Mutual Insurance Services.
In 1995, Rodney became President and Chief Executive Officer of American General Life Companies.
When it merged with the American International Group, he was in charge of their life insurance division. Rodney has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Voya Financial since 2011.
