Rogan P. Taylor finished his studies at University of Lancaster, obtaining Bachelor of Arts (with first class honors) in 1980, and Doctor of Philosophy in 1985.
Mr. Taylor joined the staff of Football Supporters Association, being a founding member since 1985 and chairperson and campaigns coordinator between 1985 and 1989. He held the position of a research associate at Sir Norman Chester Centre for Football Research at University of Leicester, Leicester, England, from 1989 to 1994. Starting from 1995 Rogan P. Taylor worked as a director of Football Research Unit at University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England.
He was a presenter of television and radio programs, including The Hidden Spirit, BBC- Radio 4, 1993; On the Kop, BBC-Radio 5, 1994; Life After Death, BBC-Radio 5, 1994; All 1 Want for Xmas Is a Dukla Prague A way-Kit, BBC-Radio 5, 1995; Heysel and After, BBC-Radio 5, 1995; and Good Korea Move?, BBC-Radio 5, 1995.
