Roger B. Oresman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University in 1941. It was followed by a Master of Business Administration degree two years later. In 1952, he received a Bachelor of Laws degree from Columbia University.
Career
Roger B. Oresman served in the United States Naval Reserve from 1943 to 1946. He left the army in the rank of to lieutenant.
Oresman worked an industrial engineer at Botany Worsted Mills, New Jersey from 1946 to 1947. That same year, he occupied the post of a management consultant in Aronson & Oresman serving in that capacity for a couple of subsequent years. He was addmitted to the New York bar in 1952. From 1952 to 1958, Oresman was an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy (currently known as Milbank). He was a partner in the company since 1958.
Roger B. Oresman served as a director in Amerada Hess Corporation and Thomas Jefferson Life Insurance Company. He has also been a trustee at Randolph College, Lynchburg, Virginia.
