Rokuro Tsukushi graduated from Economics Department of Kyoto University in 1915.
Career
Rokuro Tsukushi served with Chikusan Shoten Company, Toraya Trust Company and then became chief of Accounting Department of Kobe Kiito Kyodo Niukesho (Kobe Raw Silk Joint Receiving Depot) in 1923. After above company was renamed Kobe Raw Silk Company became senior managing director in 1929, and then president since 1942. In 1953, became the president of the Kobe Kiito Shoji Kaisha (Kobe Raw Silk Trading Company). Also served as director of Nozawa Asbestos and Cement Manufacturing Company in 1937. Held additional posts of chief director of Kobe Raw Silk Exchange and president of Kobe Raw Silk Wholesalers’ Association.
