Lecturer, assistant professor University Uppsala, 1968-1974. Researcher, adviser Swedish Radio Council, Stockholm, 1974-1979. Deputy director general, advisor Swedish Local Radio Cooperation, 1979-1983, manager local radio station Uppsala, 1983-1986.

Deputy director general, head research National Board Psychological Defense, Stockholm, 1986-1998. Official expert, adviser and consultant on crisis communications and information. Expert in numerous governmental committees concerning mass media development and mass communications, since 1986.

Lecturer on mass communications to most Swedish universities, also other university and organizations in Scandinavia and Europe, since 1986.
