Foreign Service Officer, 1924. Assigned to Department of State, December, 1925. Consul at Winnipeg, Can., 1926.
Assigned to Department of State, 1928. Assistant, to Chief International Sect, of Western European Division. (work on Disarmament, League of Nations, World Court, etc.).
During War, was with Young Men's Christian Association overseas service as Physical Director with Italian Army. Decorated with Italian Croix de Guerre.
