He played National Collegiate Athletic Association collegiate tennis at Portland State University. He represented the United States until the end of 2010. Singles (9)

Achievements

• Borvanov has won nine singles and four doubles Futures titles in his career. When he achieved his career high Association of Tennis Professionals singles ranking on 200 on October, 2011 he became the first Moldovan player to ever be ranked in the top 200.
