Romy competed for the Mission Lebanon title against her own twin sister Rina Chibany and 14 other contestants. Rina was chosen Mission Lebanon and Romy ended up runner-up in the competition, the first time in Mission Lebanon history, two siblings end up in top 2 position. In December 2012 Romy Chibany was appointed to represent Lebanon at the Mission World 2013 competition.
