Mendive graduated from Kellogg High School, and attended North Idaho College.
Achievements
2012 With Republican Representative Vito Barbieri redistricted to 2A, Mendive won the May 15, 2012 Republican Primary with 1,667 votes (501%), a margin of only 9 votes, and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 11,855 votes (679%) against Democratic nominee David Larsen.
