Career
He was editor of the German edition of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction from 1983 to 1999, and editor of the German sf magazine Nova from 2002 to 2011. Since the year 2000 he has been a regular contributor to the biweekly novel series Maddrax, having written more than twenty-five novels for the series so far. Beginning in 2002, he has co-published the science-fiction magazine NOVA.
