High Commissioner in Zimbabwe 1980-1983. Ambassador to Morocco 1985-1987, High Commissioner in New Zealand (also accredited to Western Samoa and Government of Pitcaini Island) 1987-1990. Visiting Fellow-, Glasgow University 1975-1976.
