Rory Cutaia began his career as a lawer at a big law firm in New York. He represented highly successful business clients. Then he was invited to join the firm’s international practice group, situated in Moscow. Cutaia's task was to persuade the former Soviet Sports Committee to allow young stars of their Red Army boxing club to compete, for the first time, in the world of professional sports.
After that he changed the field through a tech company start-up called Telx. The company was founded in 2000. And nowadays it is the biggest data center interprise which provide interconnection. With 20 data centers Telx reduces connectivity costs by providing direct, secure connections to a community of the industry’s networks and access to more then 1,200 customers, including leading telecommunications carriers, cloud providers, content providers and enterprises. Telx is a private company with the headquarters in New York City. It serves 13 US markets with six facilities in New York, two service facilities in Chicago, two in Dallas, four facilities in California, two Pacific Northwest facilities, and service facilities in Atlanta, Miami and Phoenix.
He was the Founder of Allied Fiber, LLC and served as its Executive Chairman and Director from June 2008 to October 2011.
Rory Cutaia founded a company Cutaia Media Group in Hollywood in 2012 . This is a media company, which is focused on new technology for entertainment content creation. Cutaia launched several entertainment projects, for instance "bBooth" - "Bringing Hollywood to Main Street". Now as Founder & CEO of Hollywood based bBooth, Inc., Rory is 'Bringing Hollywood to Main Street' through a nationwide talent discovery platform of recording studio kiosks deployed in shopping malls - where anyone can 'bSeen, bHeard, and bDiscovered'. Rory is also actively involved in many charitable endeavors. He founded the US Chapter of Innocence In Danger, a global organization dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of children who have been victims of trafficking. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The New York Institute of Technology and a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Shakespeare Center.
Cutaia serves on the Board of Directors of Wolf-Gordon Holdings, Inc. among several other companies and organizations and is a Member of the Board of Trustees at New York Institute of Technology.
