Rosalind Brewer is an American businesswoman. She is president and CEO of Sam’s Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (Walmart), with more than 600 locations nationwide.
Career
She is the first woman and the first African American to be the CEO of a subsidiary of Walmart.
Achievements
In 2012, she was ranked as the 50th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
Was honored by FORTUNE magazine in 2010 and 2011 as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business.
She is chair of the board of trustees for her alma mater, Spelman College.
