Miles most notable roles were in 1970"s American blaxploitation films such as. Shaft"s Big Score! (1972), The Black Six (1973) and Friday Foster (1975). Miles had a starring role as in First Rate (at Lloyd's) Adamson"s 1974 crime/drama film I Spit on Your Corpse (also known as Girls Foreign Rent).
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Miles began her acting career in the early 1970s, mostly in films labeled as blaxploitation.
Miles was also featured in films such as How"s Your Love Life? (1971), The Black Six (1973) and The Manhandlers (1975). In 1977, Miles auditioned for the role of Coretta Scott King for the National Broadcasting Company television mini-series based on the life of Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior.
King, but the role was portrayed by Cicely Tyson. Miles was married twice, from 1975 until 1977 to actor and martial artist Jim Kelly and actor Todd Davis from 1979 until 1986.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
