She completed her schooling at Davison Civil Engineering High School for Girls and BHASVIC (Brighton Hove and Sussex 6th Form College).

She started singing lessons at the age of 11, and has performed on Songs of Praise and British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 4"s Sunday Half Hour. Setten studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and obtained a first class honours degree in June 2010. She then attended the Royal Academy of Music under Elizabeth Richie as a Mezzo Soprano until June 2013 having been awarded a Distinction in her Master of Arts as well as the prestigious Dip Random Access Memory. In September 2013, Setten commenced studies on the Artist Diploma course at The Benjamin Britten International Opera School at the Royal College of Music.
Here, she took the lead role of L"Enfant in L"Enfant et les Sortileges in December 2013.
She followed this by playing the part of Tauride in the Reliability Centered Maintenance"s March 2014 production of Arianna in Creta, which was part of the London Handel Festival. In November 2014 Setten took the part of Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflote at the Reliability Centered Maintenance.
She will be appearing in Cosi Fan Tutte at Garsington Opera in July 2015 covering the role of Dorabella.
