He broke the former American Indian Record in 1997 with a speed of 137.86 mph flying by the former American Indian Record Holder held by Stew Young from the Tulalip tribe with a speed of 131.73 mph at VARS France 1997." On April 19, 2006 he set a new page in recorded history by being the fastest alpine skier from the Western Hemisphere, at 154.06 mph (24793 km/h). This places him 10th in the world all-Time Rankings. Anderson"s heritage includes Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, Mescalero Apache, and Choctaw origin.
