Rowshan Ershad

Career

She was the "chief patron of the Bangladesh Jatiya Mohila Sangstha". She visited the flooded islands of Urir char and Hatia in May 1985. She attended the United Nations Special Convention on Drug Abuse in 1985.

Her personal interests include literature, Asian music and art

She performed the Hajj in 1984 and 1985.

Achievements

• In 1975, she became the founder-President of the Sena Paribar Kalliyan Samity (Armed Forces Family Welfare Association).

Membership

She is a presidium member of the Jatiya Party (Ershad) and she is the wife of former Bangladesh president Hussain Muhammad Ershad, who she married in 1956.
