Roy Joseph Matway, American Material scientist. Achievements include development of refinement of liquid steel processing practices for improved product quality, physical modeling technique for liquid, liquid mass transfer studies, elucidation of common design variable changes on mass transfer rates. National Steel fellow, 1982, Max Planck Society fellow, 1986.
