Riehlman, Roy Walter was born on August 26, 1899 in Otisco, New York, United States. Son of Frederick and Catherine (Edinger) Riehlman.

Bookkeeper wholesale drug company, Syracuse, New York, 1920. Operated general store and served as postmaster, Nedrow, New York, 1921-1923. Owner and operator Tully (New York) Bakery, from 1923.

Vice-president, director 1st National Bank of Tully, from 1941. Vice president Lu-Mar Enterprises, Inc. Supervisor (majority leader) Town of Tully, 1938-1944.
