Bookkeeper wholesale drug company, Syracuse, New York, 1920. Operated general store and served as postmaster, Nedrow, New York, 1921-1923. Owner and operator Tully (New York) Bakery, from 1923.

Vice-president, director 1st National Bank of Tully, from 1941. Vice president Lu-Mar Enterprises, Inc. Supervisor (majority leader) Town of Tully, 1938-1944.

Onondaga Company clerk, 1944-1946. Member 80th, 81st Congresses (1947-1951), 36th District New York. Member 83d-87th Congresses, 35th District New York, member of 88th Congress 34th District New York.
