Soriquez graduated in University of Bologna with a degree in Human Resources. Soriquez also took a filmmaking course organized by New York Film Academy in Florence in 2007 and also studied script-writing and editing in New New York He obtained a diploma in acting at Colli Theatre School in 2008.
2011-2013: Debut in Italy As director Soriquez, after making his debut with the documentary "Montovolo. History, Nature and Legend", in 2011 directed Sexocracy: The Manitoba of Bunga Bunga, a documentary feature film based on a long interview with Lele Mora on the Italian entertainment system and its relationship with Silvio Berlusconi. Sexocracy released in theaters in May 2012 receives a nomination for Best Documentary at the New York City International Film Festival, edition of 2012.
In 2013 Soriquez writes, directs and does the photography of "The Broken Crown", a Italy/Germany/Philippines co-production.

2013-present: Debut in Philippines Ruben moves to the Philippines in late 2013 where he founds See Thru Pictures, Incorporated., a film production and distribution company. With See Thru Pictures, Soriquez produces in 2015 Of Sinners and Saints.
