English summary: This text and workbook describes biblical books according to their contexts and structure and then provides the process of their historical development back to their origins. The framework targets the canon of the Hewbrew Bible, which is set apart in the introduction from the Greek or Christian Bible and the so-called Apocrypha. The four canonical divisions of the Hebrew Bible are introduced in their own overview chapter: the Pentateuch, the canonical historical books, the phenomena of the prophets, and the Hebrew poets. The course and degree of the research is appropriate for the successful comprehension of the material and an extensive bibliography is provided throughout the work. Whoever wishes to make an intensive study of the Old Testament and its development will find all of the important information in this book.
