He completed his schooling at Hanwant School, located at Shastri Nagar in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He then graduated from JNVU.
He started his acting career in 2009. He has a younger brother named Chander Shekhar Oza. After completing his studies he later joined the Rajasthan police Force in 1995 as a sub inspector and left in 2007 for Bollywood.
Kaushish started his career with a television commercial in 2009.
He appeared in more than one hundred commercials for companies like Colgate, Lifebuoy, Dettol, Godrej et cetera In 2009 he started doing soap operas on Star Plus, Colours, SAB television Channel V. He was first noticed for his negative character in Bhagya Vidata on Colors as a negative character named Ghanshyam.
After he worked on Star Plus in the serial Geet and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2012, which gave led to movie roles. He worked for Colors channel on Amrit Manthan.
Kaushish played several characters on Crime Investigation Department. In 2013 he joined Zee television for his next serial in 2013 Fear Files the show is based on paranormal activities.
