Paços de Ferreira
Caetano joined Football Club Porto"s youth system at the age of 13, being released in 2010 and joining F.C. Paços de Ferreira shortly after. Caetano played 24 matches in the 2012-2013 season (20 as a substitute, 606 minutes of action), as Paços finished a best-ever third and qualified to the Union of European Football Associations Champions League for the first time in its history. He scored his only goal of the campaign on 28 April 2013, netting the final 2–2 at Vitória South Carolina (U.S.) in the 88th minute.
Gil Vicente
On 2 January 2014 Caetano signed for fellow top-divisioner Gil Vicente Football Club, penning a contract until June of the following year.
Caetano gained 43 caps for Portugal all youth categories comprised, scoring two goals. He participated at the 2011 Fédération internationale de football association U-20 World Cup in Colombia, only missing two games out of seven as the nation finished in second place.
