Career
Is credited with having invented the first machine to mass-produce hats, which he did for the Yayoi Hat Manufacturing Company, while he was employed there as a technician.
It is reckoned that due to his invention the company manufactured some 3,890,000 hats during the years 1922-30, and exports were made.
