Career
Born in Valdesandinas, Spain, del Riego Jáñez was ordained a priest on June 5, 1965. On June 26, 2005, he was appointed titular bishop of Daimlaig and auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino, California. He was consecrated bishop on September 20, 2005.
