From 1923 studied at Moscow Higher Technical College.
Career
From 1914 took part in underground student Marxist circles in Chernigov, then in Moscow. From March 1917 tech secretary, Moscow Party Committee. Helped found Youth League and rally youth in support of Bolsheviks.
During 1917 October Revol acted as messenger to Red Guard detachments on behalf of Moscow Party Committee and Military Revol Committee. After 1917 October Revol secretary, Sokol’niki Rayon Party Committee, Moscow. 1918, together with R. South. Zemlyachka, conducted political work at front.
Head, Polit Department, 38th Infantry Division and 58th Infantry Brigade. Deputy head, Polit Department, 20th and 32nd Division and other units. After Civil War continued to work in Red Army.
Was secretary. Baku City Soviet, then held exec positions in People's Commissariat of Heavy Indiana and Defense Indiana. Arrested by State Security organs.
