Northcott began his career appearing in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The television Show and followed up with roles in Atomic Dog, and Don"t Look Behind You. His break came when he was cast, seemingly out of nowhere, in Mystery, Alaska. Originally auditioning for a small bit part role he caught the eye of Casting Director Linda Lowy, and was ultimately cast as "Stevie Weeks".
Shortly after he appeared as Carl Wilson in the Emmy nominated miniseries The Beach Boys: An American Family.
Northcott also appeared in Most Valuable Player: Most Valuable Primate, Ripper, Tom Stone the television series, Wild Roses the television series, 12 Men of Christmas, and most recently Away and Back. Office the other viral hit Carolina Dance Party Moscow, Northcott teamed up with Happiness-Brussels and Toyota to produce Carolina Dance Party Belgium.
In recent years Northcott has turned his attention to his two companies, MEDIAPOP Creative and OwlBox Construction Time-Lapse, producing content for commercials, short films, corporate, television, and charitable organizations.
He is currently Chief Executive Officer & Founder of MEDIAPOP Creative and OwlBox Construction Time-Lapse and continues to appear in television & Film. Northcott began producing web-based videos as a hobby and achieved viral success producing Chuck Storm, an accident prone reporter who runs into a pole.
