After graduating from Tokyo University in 1923 Ryosei made a detailed study of national economics, specializing in the development of capitalism in Far Eastern society.
Career
Ryosei was a member of the Democratic Scientists Association and since 1948 has been professor at Senshu University. Among his learned works are Structure of Japanese Industry and Foundation and Development of Capitalism in Japan.
