Education
Ryukichi Tobe graduated from Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts (1911).
Career
After graduating from Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts Ryukichi Tobe became a professor there and taught history of Eastern sculpture (1919). Was ranked in knowledge with Gemmyo Ono and Baiei Hemmi. Wrote several manuscripts and among the few that were published is "Japanese Buddhist Fine Arts."
