Career
The Nellikkupam assembly constituency is part of Cuddalore (Lok Sabha constituency). He was born in Sorathur on 28 June 1961. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering.
He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Nellikkupam constituency in 2006 elections.
