YUNUSOV, Sabir was born in 1909.
1935 graduated Central Asian University.
Since 1943 Head, Laboratory of the Chemistry of Alkaloids, Institute of Chemistry, Uzbek Academy of Sciences. 1950-1952 simultaneously Director, Institute of Chemistry, Uzbek Academy of Sciences. 1952-1962 V.-President, Uzbek Academy, of Science.
Established laws governing accumulation of alkaloids in various parts of plants. Analysed structure of alkaloid series and isolated dozens of new compounds of this group.
Religion is bad because it obstructs scientific research.
Member, Communist Party, since 1950.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
