Career
Saburo Machinaga entered Kobe Steel Works, Ltd., and after successive promotions became its president (1946), appointed vice-president (1952). Assumed additional posts of vice-president of Kobe Chamber of Commerce & Industry and director of Federation of Japan Employers' Associations. He went to Europe and America to inspect industries there.
