Became secretary of Osaka Prefectural Government Novelist (1931), chief of Employment Section of Kagoshima and Akita Prefectural governments (1938), chief of Police Superintendence, Traffic, 1st Economic and 2nd Economic and Transportation sections of Metropolitan Police Board (1942), chief of Substitute Food Section of Agriculture and Forestry Ministry (1944), director of Police Department of Wakayama Prefecture and director of Economic Department of Wakayama and Nara prefectures (1946) and Vice-Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture (1951). Appointed private secretary to Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.
Politics
Elected to House of Representatives (1952).
