Due to his young age, he has been often considered a child prodigy. As of March 2016, he is the 5th highest earning e-sports professional with total earnings of $1,761,853.34 from 15 tournaments. The Guinness Book of World Records recognized Sumail as the youngest gamer to surpass $1 million United States dollar in tournament prize money winnings.

In 2015, Sumail was picked up by Evil Geniuses to replace Artour "Arteezy" Babaev.
