Career
His is currently playing with Jokerit in the Finnish Master of Science-liiga. Salminen was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 7th round (184th overall) of the 2013 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Salminen made his Master of Science-liiga debut playing with Jokerit during the 2012-2013 Master of Science-liiga season.
