Left Law Department of Nihon University without graduating.
Career
He served at Police Department of Ehime Prefectural Government, becoming police inspector and chief of Matsuyama Police Station (1926). Appointed mayor of Uwajima City (1916) and Saijo City (1941).
Became chairman (1946) and then president (1948) of Ehime Mujin Kaisha (Ehime Mutual Loan Company) and continued as president when the company was reorganized and renamed Ehime Mutual Financing Bank. (1951).
