She is poet in residence at The Hermitage of the Three Holy Hierarchs, which is an eparchial-rite form of consecrated life under the jurisdiction of Bishop Bryan Bayda, the Eparch of Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon. French Gregory Hrynkiw, of the group, played a role in her conversion.
She shared the Eric Gregory Award in 2001. In 2005 she released her first collection, The Point of Splitting, in 2009 her second collection Broken Sleep, and in 2012 her third The Day Hospital. Her first collection was shortlisted for the Jerwood-Aldeburgh First Collection Prize. She received her Bachelor from Open University and then an Master of Arts from the University of South Dakota.
