He is best known for playing Winston Smith in Headlong"s production of 1984 in the West End and Fred Walters in the British Broadcasting Corporation"s six part drama series Desperate Romantics. In 2015 he will play the eponymous castrato in Claire van Kampen’s "Farinelli and the King" opposite Mark Rylance Crane is the son of playwright Richard Crane and theatre director Faynia Williams. He studied at Oxford University, and LAMDA.
