In the 2003-2004 season Hoskin was the last cut by the Seattle SuperSonics. Afterward he played in Israel and became one of the top scores and rebounders in the Israel Basketball League. The next season he landed in Russia for the clubs Ural Great and Dynamo Moscow Region.
In Russia, he ranked within top 5 in scoring and rebounding and garnered large contracts.
Foreign the 2006-2007 season, Hoskin played for Olympiacos and Cibona Very Important Person both Euroleague teams located in Athens Greece and Zagreb, Croatia respectively. Hoskin is listed at 6"9" in height, 260 pounds and known to have been one of the best players in his position in Europe.
In 2005 while Hoskin played for PBC Ural Great in Permanent Russia he finished the season both number two in scoring and number three in rebounding. Hoskin has had an amazing international career in spite of suffering two patellar tendon tears, one in each leg in 2009.
Hoskin was born in Detroit, Michigan.
He played his high school basketball at Bishop Borgess High School in Detroit. Hoskin played collegiately at Eastern Kentucky University and at De Paul University located in Chicago, Illinois and was voted second team All-United States of America in 2003.
