Career
A juggler and street performer in the Denver area since 2010, Sam Malcolm is predominantly self-taught and typically employs traditional juggling style. He specializes in high-numbers juggling with balls, clubs and rings as well as head balancing, torch juggling and knife juggling. Malcolm toured with Zoppé Circus as a juggler in the summer of 2012, and in 2013 competed for the Gold Medal in the International Jugglers" Association Individual Rings Numbers Competition.
He competed again to earn the Silver Medal in the same competition in 2014.
When he is not competing, Sam Malcolm can be found Street Performing his Comedy and Fire Juggling show at his home pitch on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado where he has worked since 2013. Street Performance and Busking
Sam Malcolm has been a professional street performer since the summer of 2010.
Residing in Denver, he most often performs at the intersection of 13th Street and Pearl Street on the historic Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado. His street performance has utilized a collection of combined skills including juggling, fire props, comedy, pogo sticking, walking ladder and balancing feats.
He has performed his street show in many cities across the United States, most notably San Diego, California, Bowling Green, Ohio, Telluride, Colorado, Reno, Nevada, Virginia Beach in Virginia and Boston, Massachusetts.
Stand-up comedy
Malcolm performs Stand-up Comedy and has toured across the United States. He has headlined at The Comedy Parlor in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States as well as appearing in many other Stand-up Comedy venues. Mime
In the summer of 2014 Sam Malcolm created a character called "#Sexymime," an alternative street performance to his Comedy and Fire Juggling show.
Variety performance
A strong proponent of the revival of the dying art of variety performance, Sam Malcolm has brought his unique combination of skills to festivals, burlesque shows, circuses and side shows.
He takes a special interest in hosting variety shows and has hosted for the 2014 Boulder Juggling Festival Renegade Show and the 2015 Northwest Arkansas Juggling Festival Renegade Show. Business
