Career
Sam started kiting when he was 9 years old and has been a key contributor to the rapid growth of kiteboarding in North America. In 2004 Sam burst onto the competitive scene winning the junior division at the 2004 Velocity Games. After spending the 2009 winter training in Brazil, Sam thrust himself onto the professional kiteboarding scene after winning a wild card entry to the 2009 Real Triple-South Invitational, a competition featuring the top professional kiteboarders from across the World held each year in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
Foreign 2010 Sam has been invited back to the Triple-South Invitational, establishing himself as one of the top names in professional kiteboarding.
To date Sam is the only Canadian rider to ever have been invited to this prestigious competition. Medysky currently resides between Taiba, Brazil, Sauble Beach and Orillia, Ontario, Canada.
