Career
Kadam started playing basketball at the age of 12-13. He hails from a small town called Miraj in Maharashtra. Kadam competed for the India national basketball team at both the International Basketball Federation Asia Championship 2007 and International Basketball Federation Asia Championship 2009.
At the 2007 tournament, he averaged a tournament leading 4 assists per game.
In 2009, he averaged a team-leading 3.2 assists per game as the Indian team improved to a 13th place finish. He had a game best seven assists in the team"s 89-73 victory over Uzbekistan for 13th place.
He supports Indian Collegiate Athletic Program (ICAP) and is a Basketball mentor for them.
