At the 2014 Winter Olympics, he won men"s team sprint with Iivo Niskanen. Jauhojärvi won his first medal at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec with a bronze in the team sprint with Ville Nousiainen, and then added a second in the 4 x 10 km. Jauhojärvi has won one World Cup race. In Trondheim 2009 he won the 50 km classic mass start competition.
