Career
Germany launched a protest over the result due to a final-leg collision between Jauhojärvi and Tim Tscharnke, but it was rejected by the jury. Jauhojärvi finished fifth in the 4 x 10 km relay in Vancouver in 2010.

At the 2014 Winter Olympics, he won men"s team sprint with Iivo Niskanen. Jauhojärvi won his first medal at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec with a bronze in the team sprint with Ville Nousiainen, and then added a second in the 4 x 10 km. Jauhojärvi has won one World Cup race. In Trondheim 2009 he won the 50 km classic mass start competition.
