Education

After education at the Friends’ School at Wilmington and the Charter School in Philadelphia, United States, Baker entered the Architectural School at the University of Pennsylvania to prepare for a professional career.

Career

After graduation, Samuel moved to New York, United States to work for a time as a draftsman. Later Samuel joined to Mr. Rogers' office. In 1944 Samuel retired to his home in Cranford, New Jersey, United States.
