Career
Hayek was chairman of the Likud youth department. He founded the South. Hayek holding company in 2004. Hayek, who has never married, was born in 1953 in Kfar Saba and grew up in Bnei Brak.
Another sister was born in Israel.
His father was a merchant in Baghdad, a representative for the Hercules & Singer Company. In 1979, Hayek began studying philosophy and history at Tel Aviv University, but soon decided to leave and study law in England.
He reached the United Kingdom in 1980, after having performed his military service in the Israel Defense Forces"s Intelligence. After finishing law he then went into business in real estate.
He is a British citizen and divides his time between London and Tel Aviv.
