SAMUEL S. LABOUISSE

Background

Samuel Labouisse was born in 1879 at New Orleans, Louisiana, United States.

Education

He was educated at Tulane University, and later entered Columbia University s School of Architecture to prepare for a professional career.

Career

In 1907 Mr. Labouisse opened an office in New Orleans and practiced independently the rest of his life except for a few years when he was a partner under the firm name of DeBuys, Churchill & Labouisse. He was a charter member of the Louisiana Chapter in 1909, and one of the founders of the School of Architecture at Tulane University.

Membership
