1875. Ordained Lutheran ministry, 1873. Pastor Sellersville, Pennsylvania, 1873-1876. Bath. Pennsylvania, 1876-1892, Saint Michael’s Lutheran Church, Germantown, Philadelphia, 1892-1911 (instrumental in erecting new churches in each of these charges).

Pastor Saint Michael’s Church, Strasburg, Pennsylvania, since 1912.

Trustee Muhlenberg College. Member board directors Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, 1893-1909.

Member of the board of publication General Council, since 1893, secretary, since 1901. Secretary of the Ministerium of Pennsylvania and adjacent states, 1892-1895.
