Formerly in insurance business. Became interested in reform work. Called and managed National Christian Conference, 1895.
Called another national conference 1897, which organized National Good Citizenship League, of which was made general secretary. Was vice president Initiative and Referendum League of America. Secretary Southern Christian Citizenship Congress, Atlanta, 1913.
Candidate of Union Reform Party for vice president of the United States, 1900. Now manager American Law & Credit Service.
