Career

Served as consulting engineer, superintendent or manager for many well known mining men or companies. Manager old Clark mine, Keweenaw Company, Michigan. Discoverer, 1907, of Tennessee zinc fields and manager American Zinc, Lead & Smelting Company’s mines, mills and exploration work, also manager for American Metal Company, same district.

President Samuel W. Osgood & Company, and successor, Osgood, Carter and Company, consulting mine and mill engrs. President American Graphite Company, Chemical Carbon Refining Company.

Served as consulting engineer, superintendent or manager for many well known mining men or companies. Member Joint Committee on Military Engineering, Chicago, 1917.
