He won a gold medal with the Hungarian national team on 2 August at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. He played with Budapesti Vörös Lobogó between 1954 and 1955, and in the 1954 Fédération internationale de football association World Cup for Hungary.
